When you come to visit for your colour match and consultation, you’ll see our full laboratory. Nothing is hidden and you will have a clear view through the laboratory and see the technicians at work.
When you come through to the consultation room, we will take some photographs that will be printed immediately. Photographs greatly help communication and enable you to point out areas of concern.
Colour match
The next stage is the colour match itself. This is a very specialised job, requiring years of training and an in depth knowledge of the materials used in your veneer, crown, bridge or implant. Your dentist will have sent you to us because they have decided that a good colour match is unlikely without specialist laboratory involvement.
The consultation room is a specialised area using only colour corrected lighting sources for accurate colour matching.
Consultation
The final stage is the consultation; this is where you can talk directly to Julian or Paul, both highly qualified technicians and both owners of the business. As one of them will make your appliance, this is a golden opportunity to tell them what you want. This may be a simple conversation about shape and size, when a single crown is being made, or considerably more in depth when a smile makeover is being created.
The whole colour match and consultation will take between 20 and 30 minutes depending on what you are having done.
